Can you return a gun after purchase?

Firearm returns are limited by federal law, not just store policy — here’s what that actually means for your order.

Before FFL transfer

If a firearm hasn’t yet been picked up and transferred at your local FFL, you can cancel the order for a full refund minus any non-refundable shipping costs already incurred.

After FFL transfer

Once a firearm has legally transferred to you through your FFL dealer, it cannot be returned for a refund under federal firearms regulations — this applies industry-wide, not just to FirearmApex.

Defective or damaged firearms

If a firearm arrives damaged or has a verified manufacturing defect, it’s eligible for exchange or manufacturer warranty repair — contact us within 7 days of transfer.
